One of the most difficult things to do is write about yourself. So, I decided it would be a fabulous idea to do it all the time!
Hey! My name is Madison. I'm a quirky, twentysomething who aspires to spread smiles through written words. My hope is that by reading about my thoughts, situations and stories you'll find something you can relate to, or at least laugh at a little.
A Bit About Her:
I am the oldest of three presidentially named children. My parents just really liked surnames, the president thing was sort of an accident. I am an atrocious speller. I know, writing is real great career path for a chronic bad speller. All I have to say is thank goodness for spellcheck! I occasionally write poetry, short stories and genre-mixed pieces too. I do read, but not nearly as much as I should. My favorite book is The Realm of Possibility by David Levithan. If you ever have a suggestion feel free to leave a comment.
I am also a theater performance major. I worked on shows in high school and just couldn't live without it! I love expressing myself through performance as well as writing. I love to make people feel something, or just simply think a little. All of the things I love to do reflect my love of people .
Her Hope:
A really important part of my creating this blog was to reach out to people who have been in similar situations, have similar interests, or want to contribute to the conversation. So, I want to encourage comments, thoughts, and kind suggestions- anything that would help make this blog something you'd like to read.
